At the tender age of 8 years old, Britney auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club. She was rejected for being too young, but tried again and was signed on at the age of 11.

First Big Hit:
In 1999, Britney shot to the top of the charts with her album "Baby One More Time". The pop album won 4 MTV Europe Awards and 4 Billboard Music Awards.

Strolls Down the Aisle:
In January 2004, Britney married her childhood friend, Jason Alexander in Las Vegas. The marriage was quickly annulled.

In September 2004, she married her backup dancer, Kevin Federline. They have one son, Sean Preston.

Sweet Smell of Success:
She launched her very own successful perfume line named "Curious" in 2004.

Generous Spirit:
She bought a $1.5 million loft in New York City for her brother Bryan.

Endangers Her Baby:
On February 7, 2006, photographers snapped photos of Britney driving her car with baby Sean Preston resting in her lap. The big question was "what was she thinking?" as she endangered the safety of her child. LA Deputies were dispatched to her home but no charges were filed.
